Serving community is part of the foundation of Elgin Medi-Transport. Pat Crawford, president, has been involved in the community through his individual and service club support. Providing ambulance services at nonprofit sporting events, ball drops by helicopter, personal service time and leadership, Elgin Medi is woven into the fabric of the communities it serves.
Pat Crawford has led the Elgin Breakfast Rotary Club as president, been a member of the Lions Club, and involved with many other service teams.
Via Rotary Club, Pat Crawford has donated two ambulances to Mexico to expand the access to and reach of quality medical care in struggling areas.
A lifelong resident of the Elgin area, Pat has personally contributed to improving the quality of life for neighbors and friends.
Professional involvement includes the local 911 Board, Sherman Health Foundation board, and Illinois Ambulance Association board among others. Pat is an active member of the American Ambulance Association and attends annual meetings for updates on software, equipment, service, regulatory compliance and staffing support.
